Twas in the Moon of Wintertime

$9.99

Depending on the source one consults, Father Jean de Brebeuf either translated the text from the Huron or wrote it, and the tune is either native to the Hurons or is a 16th century French folk tune. I’m not prepared to make a judgment call on the text, so suit yourself. This arrangement is on The Pittsburgh Camerata's 2000 CD "A Pittsburgh Wassail," which is available on iTune.

There is a lot of divisi in this arrangement - be forewarned!

You need a good English horn player. I suppose you could use a clarinet, but please don't tell me about it. An English horn part in F will be available on a separate page as soon as I get around to posting it...

6 pages.
